2. Excellent music, horrendous audio quality. To my best knowledge the only version of this album that has acceptable audio quality is the one contained in the Complete Stan Getz collection from Columbia (which I own). Do not get this version/5(19).

6. ‘Best Of Two Worlds’ is fine Bossa. The album oozes class and quality throughout with Getz in soulful and mellow mood. Highlights include the classic ‘Aguas de Marco’, the jazzy ‘Falsa Bahiana’, ‘Double Rainbow’ and the gorgeous ‘E Preciso Perdoar’. The percussion work from Airto among others is literally divine. Five-star.

8. Stan Getz works with the bossa nova style in this CD, taking it to a new level. This CD is all about the atmosphere. There are the short little piano bits put in with the constant guitar and Latin drumming. João’s hypnotic Portuguese vocals take command until it is time for Stan’s solo. The vocal work on Best of Two Worlds is phenomenal.
