  4. Neptune Towers was a dark ambient side project formed in by Fenriz of Darkthrone. He released two albums under this name, Caravans to Empire Algol () and Transmissions from Empire Algol (), both issued by Moonfog Productions. Fenriz began recording a third Neptune Towers album, Space Lab, in , but it was not finished.

  8. Darkthrone went on to take a two-year break from recording anything new. One must also keep in mind that Fenriz had been involved with many other projects over the past years including Isengard, Neptune Towers, Storm, Dødheimsgard, and Valhall. While Darkthrone remained his main focus, it certainly wasn’t his only one.
